Scott's take: This is as close to that classic kretek flavor as we have found. Sweet, rich, and "clovey". You can almost hear the crackle that were a sort of trade mark of kreteks.

    Smooth tobacco with a hint of clove, blended very well, surprisingly pleasant. Not over-sweet and not overpowered by the characteristic spiciness cloves have. Just the right blend I was looking for!

    I liked smoking cloves a lot in the past. Like the other reviewer, I had the opportunity to try it in store and liked it. Bought a bottle for myself and was less taken by it. It does have the aroma of cloves, but I felt that it was lacking the sweetness that they have. Also there is no spice to the smoke that is characteristic of cloves, but I would think that maybe hard to capture in the liquid. I'll smoke what I got, but probably won't get this flavor again.

    When I sampled this in the store, I liked it quite a lot. When I started smoking, it was the original Djarum Blacks (before they changed the wrappers), and was hoping that this would be a similar experience. I was wrong, this isn't really similar in any way to me.

    -There's an off-putting sourness to it. Floral, yet...spoiled? I can't quite put my finger on it.

    -This is going to sound pretty harsh, but the aftertaste is almost urine-like. It's foul.

    I am disappointed, because now I've wasted an atomizer on this flavor. I'm not sure why I liked it enough to buy it when I was in the store, because upon filling a whole 1.5ml tank, I am repulsed by it.
